Slow Shutter Speed

This theme is creating a motion by using a tripod and objects moving in front of the lens. The shutter staying open catches the movement.

  1. Taylor,
I like that you tried a wide variety of subjects for these. The photos are a good start at slow shutter speed photography which can be difficult. The triptych works but the top left photo doesn't show my blur to me. Also be careful about mixing black and white with color photos...it's difficult to pull off well. The 2nd photo is a good water blur which might have looked better in black and white. I like the 3rd photo but be sure and clean up the 'dust spots' next time. It's an easy fix with the healing brush tool. Very nice train blur on the 4th photo and also some solid composition. 45/50
